Our Story

How it all started...

In 1988, a small group gathered in the humble surroundings of Pastor Arthur T. Jones' home for what would become the genesis of Bible-Based Fellowship Church. What began as an informal Bible study quickly burgeoned, reflecting a hunger for deeper spiritual connection and community.

The demand for more than just weekly gatherings became evident, leading to the inception of Sunday services. This pivotal moment marked the transition from intimate gatherings to a vibrant congregation seeking to share the gospel with a broader audience.

Expanding the vision...

With each passing year, our vision has not only endured but flourished. Under the leadership of Pastor Anthony C. White, who assumed the mantle in 2013, we've continued to uphold our vision of being Bible-Based, Christ-centered, and Holy Spirit-led.

Central to our identity are the five pillars of ministry: Evangelism, Education, Economics, Entrepreneurship, and Expansion. These pillars serve as the bedrock of our mission, guiding our efforts to impact both our local community and the world at large.

Through a diverse range of ministries tailored to meet the evolving needs of our congregation and the Tampa Bay community, we've made significant strides in fulfilling our vision. From outreach programs to educational initiatives, we are committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.

Where we are headed...

As we look to the future, our resolve to make a lasting impact remains unwavering. Guided by our commitment to being welcoming, compassionate, and authentic, we strive for excellence in all endeavors.

With a focus on growth, servanthood, and transformation, we are poised to embark on new ventures and initiatives that will further advance our mission. Whether it's through community outreach, global relief efforts, or innovative entrepreneurial endeavors, we are dedicated to leaving an indelible mark on the world around us.
